Alex has been trained to by some of the best Counsellors and Psychotherapists in the North East.

He holds a HND and HNC in Counselling, an Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy/psychotherapy, a Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming and has studied Psychology HEFC with Northumbria University to enhance the quality of service offered to clients.

Alex is a Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. He studied with "Tyne Metropolitan college" and "Northumberland college" toward a counselling HNC/D and has studied HEFC Psychology with "Northumbria University". He has worked in care and personal development since 1998 and practiced as a counsellor with Contact Mental Health Group and Escape Family support. He has trained as a facilitator with "Newcastle College" and established a personal development initiative called 'Actualisation Resource Counselling and Certification' offering structured groups and informal recognition for learning.
